Has anyone run into this global issue with the tiered progress bar when using Shopify automatic discounts?
The app is calculating the original (pre-discount) product price instead of the discounted price. This means customers can unlock gifts at a much lower spend than intended. The impact is serious:
Direct revenue loss across all affected stores
Gifts being given away below the threshold
Risk to customer trust when they see inconsistent logic
We’ve confirmed that the “use post-discount price” setting does not work as expected. Support has acknowledged the issue, but it’s still unresolved. Since this appears to be a global problem, it could be quietly affecting every store using the tiered bar with Shopify’s automatic discounts.
