👋 Hey guys, just published a 9-criterion Agentic Commerce Readiness Index. Scored 40 premium DTC beauty brands on whether AI assistants can recommend their products.
Findings that might be relevant for DTC operators here:
• 0/40 hit the 7+/9 "Agent-Ready" threshold. Median: 4.
• Crawl access is solved (92%). Schema is patchy (30-58%). Content quality is the killer (12%).
• 30% of brands ship Review widgets but no AggregateRating JSON-LD. Usually a single toggle in widget vendor dashboards.
• 87% don't have FAQPage schema, even when they have FAQ pages.
• Most PDP descriptions read as spec sheets, not "who/why/when" buyer context.
