Addressing Rebuy Cart Issues During Labor Day Sale

There are no issues now, but it was like that for 20+ mins. A bit worrying when this happens and we have Labor day sale + ads running. I dont care about Rebuy not working that much, but without it our cart is broken, as the default cart is turned off. Is there any best practice on how to detect if rebuy is not working, and then enable the default cart and/or take people directly to cart page?
