Starting a New Shopify Store: Seeking Advice and Tips for Success

Hey call me stupid but I'm starting up my own shopify store with my mother and I want everyone to tell me what it is they do. Let's take this thing to the moon. My specialty has just been in upsell optimization, so everything else will be new to me for the most part. Any help, advice, or pitching would be greatly appreciated!
